What You Will Do

  • Carry a small, thoughtfully paced caseload appropriate to your training level

  • Conduct intakes, practice differential assessment, and build collaborative treatment plans

  • Deliver evidence-based interventions for anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, life transitions, and relational patterns

  • Develop skills in crisis screening, risk documentation, and coordinated care with outside providers

  • Participate in case conferences, chart reviews, and live or recorded skills coaching

  • Co-facilitate and eventually lead clinical or support groups under supervision, building confidence in group process and facilitation skills

Supervision and Support

  • Supervision aligns with common graduate program requirements for clinical training hours and competencies

  • Clear learning objectives each term with midterm and final feedback

  • Structured skill labs and brief micro-trainings integrated into group supervision

  • Access to sample templates for intakes, progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries

Who Should Apply

  • Master’s students in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, or Marriage and Family Therapy who are entering a practicum or internship semester in 2026

  • Interns who value warm professionalism, accountability, and a client-first mindset

  • Learners who want hands-on experience with trauma-responsive, attachment-aware, and skills-based care

Schedule and Location

  • Start date: January 5, 2026

  • Location: Fairfield, Connecticut, with some flexibility for telehealth where appropriate

  • Hours: Align with your program’s practicum or internship requirements. We co-create a schedule that balances client care, supervision, and training

Compensation and Benefits

  • Stipend: Paid at the end of each successfully completed semester

  • Training: All Everwell trainings are included at no cost

  • Professional development: Letters of recommendation, portfolio support, and job-search coaching near graduation
